Support and training for foster carers

We are dedicated to providing the best local support possible for our foster carers.

Fostering is very rewarding but can also be quite challenging at times, which is why help is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

Training for foster carers

Before you are approved as a foster carer, you will need to undergo some training locally. This will help to develop the knowledge and skills you need to look after children and young people.

We encourage our foster carers to take as much training as they can. We offer a wide range of courses covering a variety of topics, from first aid to internet safety.
